Needle felting is a fun, mess-free hobby and all you need to get started is a comfy seat, a soft surface and the supplies inside this kit. Learn how to make birds by simply poking wool fibres with a special barbed needle. The finished birds are sweet decorations for Easter, Christmas or at any time of the year. 
 
Inside your kit you will find eleven shades of soft merino wool fibres: mulberry, rose pink, pale pink, aqua blue, yellow, cerulean, white, black, peach, orange and lilac so that you can let your imagination go wild as you have fun creating your designs. There are also complete step-by-step photographic instructions, a high-quality felting needle, stripy thread for hanging your finished designs, plus a needle-felting basics guide full of our top tips.
 
You will need:
A soft surface. A large sponge will do if you are just beginning or add one of our felting mats to your order.
