Daruma Genmou

Twisted loosely, GENMOU (meaning raw wool in Japanese) is a 3-ply, 100% merino wool yarn that is designed to be wonderfully light and soft. Two thin, tightly spun strands of merino are twisted around fluffy, untwisted carded wool. This unique construction produces an airy and extremely light yarn, while simultaneously making it wavy, resulting in a very smooth knit fabric.  The feel is reminiscent of touching the soft bodies of merino sheep!

DARUMA GENMOU is great for wraps, garments, and accessories, and is available in a color palette that mixes bright, poppy shades and soft, calm neutrals.
