Service Description
Cables are one of those “magic tricks” of knitting that looks so complicated until you actually try it—and see that it’s a piece of cake! This class will help you understand how cables work, how to read a cable chart, and how to use a cable needle. In class, we’ll make a sample swatch using a basic chart. After that, we’ll move onto a slightly more complex cable. Confident beginner – students should know how to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off 2 hours Homework: none Supplies: smooth, worsted weight scrap yarn, size US 7 or 8 needles, cable needle (any type; must be thinner than size US 7 needle)
