Community Chest
The inspiration for this comes from the Little Free Crafting Library at Cleo’s Yarn Shop in Brooklyn.
This shelf is dedicated to the free exchange of yarn and craft supplies. One crafter’s “this isn’t really speaking to me” is another crafter’s “that’s exactly what I’m looking for!”
Everyone is welcome to donate and/or take home any of the yarn and supplies on the shelf.
If you would like to donate supplies, please read over our guidelines below before bringing them to the shop.

We DO accept:
-
yarn, including:

-

-
crochet hooks
-
scissors
-

-
etc.
-

We CANNOT accept:
-
tangled yarn
-
works in progress (please cut off or frog any started projects attached to donated yarn)
-
finished projects or swatches
-
yarn with any signs of moths (dead moth eggs look a bit like white/grey dust)
-
yarn that does not look or smell clean
-
non-yarn related craft supplies like pencils, paints, glue, canvases, scrapbooking supplies, etc.
-
mismatched, damaged, or un-paired sets of needles
If your donation fits the above terms, we will look it over and give it a new life.
